Arline Isaacson is a lobbyist and a political and public relations consultant for businesses and non-profits.
She’s President of Isaacson Political Consulting and a volunteer Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus.
Isaacson led the legislative battle for Marriage Equality in Massachusetts, making this state the first in the nation to defeat a Marriage Equality ban.
Isaacson has lobbied every major LGBTQ issue in Massachusetts for the last 30 years including
the Gay & Lesbian Civil Rights Bill
Anti-LGBT Parenting measures
Anti-Bullying bills & Hate Crimes bills
Transgender Equal Rights
AIDs / HIV legislation
Banning Conversion Therapy for Minors
Isaacson helps companies and organizations be effective in government, community and media relations. She has lobbied for environmentalists, the City of Boston, the Mass Teachers Association, the ACLU and many others.
Isaacson taught at Harvard’s Kennedy School and sat on gubernatorial commissions for both Democratic and Republican Governors. She serves as spokesperson to national media, and lectures at colleges throughout the state.
Isaacson has worked for racial and environmental justice, alternative energy, digital privacy, patient safety, and the establishment of an African Ethical Leadership Institute.
She’s a regular commentator on WBUR and holds a seat on the Boston’s Women’s Commission.
Isaacson and her 2 daughters live in Boston.
